Students roll the four dice and, with the words they get, he makes up a sentence. It can make sense or not, maybe it just a funny image. For example:
-HE KNOWS OUR LESSONS AND TELLS US.
-YOUR SISTER AND YOU ATE MY CHOCOLATE AND YOU DINDT INVITE ME?
Here, students’ imagination is of utmost importance since they will have to recognise each type of pronoun, their correct meaning and use and their position in a grammatically correct sentence.
They can also produce several sentences or a short story in order to use them all demonstrating their deep understanding of the topic.
Teacher can also choose which dice to combine. For example, personal pronouns and verbs only, so that students practice tenses, personal pronouns die and possessive die to check real understanding of their confusing use; or verbs and object pronouns which are much more difficult for students to use and incorporate to their spontaneous second language production.
Teacher can choose one die, give Students a worksheet and, as they rolls the dice and get an item, they start completing the task as they get the correct one.
